\u201cThere you go, Miss Clean!\u201d I shouted. \u201cEnjoy the cleanup!\u201d Annabelle\u2019s face was a mix of horror and disbelief. \u201cIf you ever pull a stunt like that again, I\u2019ll redecorate your car with manure. Do I make myself clear?\u201d<\/p>\n
I turned on my heel and walked back home, leaving Annabelle in stunned silence. The neighborhood erupted in applause, and Mrs. Johnson approached me with admiration. \u201cKristie, that was\u2026 legendary!\u201d<\/p>\n
In the weeks that followed, the dynamic in our neighborhood shifted. Annabelle kept to herself, avoiding any confrontation. Meanwhile, the rest of the neighborhood embraced me as a hero.<\/p>\n
