A woman shared a story on Reddit\u2019s r\/AITAH subreddit. The woman revealed that she had a date with a man, but after what happened during the date, she decided to block the man from her phone and stopped seeing him.<\/p>\n

The Redditor shared that for their first date, they went to an expensive restaurant. Woman revealed that she talked about the restaurant as her favourite place, but she didn\u2019t mean to go there for their first date.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI said that for a first date we could go somewhere more casual like this cool Mexican spot between us that has over 300 tequilas in their tequila library but is still pretty cheap when it comes to food. Amazing tacos with handmade tortillas. But ultimately, he wanted to pick. I was trying to be helpful and make suggestions. Also we live in different parts of a big city with terrible traffic that\u2019s extremely car dependent.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the dinner, they asked for separate checks, which the woman also wanted that way. Then the waiter brought the receipt. While they were paying, the man checked the Redditor\u2019s card.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen our server comes back to grab them, he takes my card, gives her both the checks, says he\u2019d covering it all, LOOKS AT MY CARD INTENSELY.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cIt\u2019s not that I think he\u2019s some numbers savant where he was stealing my info by looking at my card (though I have bartended for years and a dumbass\/genius who worked with me could memorize card numbers at a glance and then use them for online purchases til he finally got a felony). And it wasn\u2019t even his little comment of \u201cOh now I finally know your last name.\u201d (which I of course wouldn\u2019t tell him before).\u201d The Redditor shared.<\/p>\n

As the woman felt uncomfortable, she decided to block the man, and shared her story for hearing some ideas about the situation online.<\/p>\n
