James was over the clouds, as his daughter Emily was going to be married with her fiance, Jake, in few days. James was looking at the old photo albums. There were pictures of Emily riding her bike, first dance and her graduation.<\/p>\n
James was smiling as he saw his daughter\u2019s first picture ever taken after she was born.<\/p>\n

Then his phone buzzed. He saw that the pictures of Emily\u2019s bridal party was uploaded to their family cloud. James decided to check them since he was the father.<\/p>\n
Emily was in a booth, and was crying her heart out as she was drinking. It was looking terrible. She then said, \u201cI hope Jake never turns out like dad!\u201d<\/p>\n
James\u2019 heart just skipped a beat. He felt an incredible pain in his soul.<\/p>\n
One of her friends said, \u201cYour father is not that bad, he is just\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Then another one filled the blank, \u201ca disappointment?\u201d Then they all laughed. James couldn\u2019t believe what he just heard. He never thought that his daughter was feeling this way.<\/p>\n

He then decided to call Emily, but couldn\u2019t. He wanted to know why his daughter was thinking this way, but he was also scared to ask.<\/p>\n
He chose not to talk about the matter for few days. He tried to understand the reason why his daughter said that, but he couldn\u2019t. When the big day arrived, he texted to his daughter.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will not be walking you down the aisle. I can\u2019t pretend like I don\u2019t know anything.\u201d<\/p>\n
He was waiting for his daughter\u2019s calls but the phone sat there in silent, as he was in his living room. Then the door got knocked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2026 I didn\u2019t mean.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was drunk, dad. I don\u2019t even remember what I\u2019ve said.\u201d<\/p>\n

She was trying not to mess her make up while wiping her tears away.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m sorry honey.\u201d James said.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust be there when I need you dad! Please!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI will!\u201d James said, as he went to wear his suit, since he had a mission, he was supposed to walk his daughter down the aisle.<\/p>\n
