Ivy interjected, explaining that the man, Frank, had saved her from some street hooligans weeks ago. He had chased them off, and they had since become friends.<\/p>\n
Frank nodded solemnly, saying he didn\u2019t want any trouble. Ivy added that Frank had been kicked out by his family for drinking but had stopped over a decade ago.<\/p>\n
Nina took a deep breath, realizing the situation’s gravity. \u201cWhy didn\u2019t you tell me, Ivy?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI knew you\u2019d worry,\u201d Ivy replied. \u201cBut Frank needed help.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cCan\u2019t we just help him?\u201d Ivy pleaded.<\/p>\n
Nina sighed, her heart softening. \u201cAlright, Ivy. Let\u2019s see what we can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Afterward, Nina couldn\u2019t shake Frank\u2019s story from her mind. During a drive home, Ivy opened up about her gratitude for Frank’s help.<\/p>\n
Days later, Nina suggested Frank could work at the bakery. Tom, her husband, agreed and mentioned he had a trailer he could fix up for Frank.<\/p>\n
One evening, Frank came by to thank them. \u201cI don\u2019t know how to repay you,\u201d he said, voice trembling.<\/p>\n
\u201cJust stay on the right path,\u201d Tom replied, patting him on the back.<\/p>\n
Frank smiled, grateful for their kindness.<\/p>\n
Ultimately, Ivy taught Nina that a small act of kindness can change lives. Now, Frank and his puppy, Buddy, are part of their family.<\/p>\n
