Stella and Richard looked forward to seeing their son\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, but nothing prepared them for what happened next. Their perspectives on his decision differed dramatically. In truth, they anticipated a slender and lovely woman, not a couch potato!<\/p>\n

Stephanie stopped eating, as astonished as Ben. \u201cDid I do something wrong, Mrs. Miller? Ben and I love each other, and\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cExcuse me?!\u201d Stella pulled back her chair and rose to her feet. \u201cWho gave you the right to interrupt my conversation with my son?\u201d<\/p>\n
Stephanie\u2019s eyes welled up. \u201cI didn\u2019t mean to. I \u2013 I am sorry\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n
