It was a hard decision, but it was necessary. Our family comes first, and no one should be made to feel unwelcome or inferior. Over time, my husband and I grew stronger as a couple. Eventually, my in-laws reached out with an apology, hoping to make amends. We agreed to meet under strict conditions, ensuring mutual respect. It took time, but we worked through the issues, establishing boundaries that made it clear: disrespect would not be tolerated.
