Hey everyone, I need to vent and maybe get some advice. Yesterday, my best friend Dan married Lauren, but the day turned into a nightmare.<\/p>\n

Dan and I have been friends since high school, always platonic. Despite this, Lauren never warmed up to me. At their wedding, I picked a warm-toned dress to match the theme, but it caused unexpected drama.<\/p>\n

During the reception, Lauren pulled me aside, furious. \u201cI cannot believe you would wear gold to my wedding,\u201d she hissed. Her anger drew stares, and I felt humiliated.
