Marissa, on the other hand, had struggled with self-esteem issues. She worked tirelessly on herself, spending countless hours at the gym and the salon, determined to feel deserving of a man like Stefan.<\/p>\n

She wiped her tears away, a spark of determination replacing the sadness in her eyes. She agreed, and we set our plan in motion.<\/p>\n

The next morning, Marissa and her best friend Leah headed to the resort where Marissa and Stefan were supposed to spend their honeymoon. The reservation was in Marissa\u2019s name, so there was no issue with her using it.<\/p>\n

Brian and I went to the wedding venue, where guests were already arriving, blissfully unaware of the drama unfolding. Stefan spotted me and hurried over, trying to act casual.<\/p>\n

Guests exchanged confused glances, and Stefan shifted uncomfortably.<\/p>\n

Gasps filled the room as Stefan\u2019s parents stood in shock. The guests began whispering, some even leaving, as the truth sank in.<\/p>\n
