For a long moment, silence filled the room. Then my husband swallowed hard and said, \u201cI don\u2019t know how to forgive. I don\u2019t know if I can.\u201d<\/p>\n
She smiled sadly. \u201cThat\u2019s up to you. But I\u2019m here if you ever want to try.\u201d<\/p>\n
When she left, my husband sat on the couch, staring at the floor. I sat beside him, resting my head on his shoulder.<\/p>\n
