I began acting extra friendly with Bethany, texting her and giving her attention. She started flirting back, thinking she was winning me over. Eventually, she suggested we meet for coffee.<\/p>\n<p>At our coffee date, I played along, making her believe I was interested. She then hinted about a future together. I knew it was time to confront her. I invited her to dinner, pretending it was to discuss our \u201crelationship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the dinner, I revealed, \u201cBethany, I heard what you said about Meg. You mocked my wife behind her back. You thought I\u2019d fall for you? You\u2019re wrong. I\u2019ll make sure Meg never sees you again.\u201d Bethany stormed out, humiliated.<\/p>\n<p>Meg, who knew about the plan, was relieved. \u201cShe got what she deserved,\u201d Meg said.
