As part of our new routine, I read to the boys every evening. Their current favorite was *Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets*. They were enthralled by the story, especially the mysterious hidden chamber.<\/p>\n

One night, as I read about Harry discovering the chamber\u2019s entrance, Eric suddenly exclaimed, \u201cGrandma, we have a Chamber of Secrets too! In the basement!\u201d<\/p>\n

Before I could object, Eric dragged me towards the basement door. \u201cEric, we shouldn\u2019t go down there,\u201d I said, but he was already pulling me along.<\/p>\n

At the basement door, Eric managed to open it. The basement was cool and musty, and as my eyes adjusted to the dim light, I noticed a door hidden behind a plastic sheet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere it is!\u201d Eric pointed, his excitement palpable.<\/p>\n

\u201cDarling, we shouldn\u2019t open it,\u201d I said. \u201cIt might not be safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s for you!\u201d Eric said, tugging at my hand.<\/p>\n

Curiosity got the better of me, and I reached for the doorknob. Just as I began to turn it, John ran up. \u201cGrandma, wait! Mom and Dad said not to come here!\u201d<\/p>\n

Ignoring John\u2019s warning, I opened the door. Inside was a room that took my breath away: it was a replica of my bedroom at home, complete with a photograph of Richard and me on our wedding day.<\/p>\n

Overwhelmed with emotion, I took a step back, tears streaming down my face. James and Natalie rushed down the stairs, worry etched on their faces.<\/p>\n

Natalie nodded. \u201cWe know how much you miss Richard. We want you to stay with us, not just as a grandmother but as a cherished family member.\u201d<\/p>\n

I looked around the room, awestruck by their thoughtfulness. \u201cYou did all this\u2026 for me?\u201d<\/p>\n

James nodded, tears in his eyes. \u201cWe love you, Mom. We want you to be happy and comfortable here.\u201d<\/p>\n
