After four long hours in the terminal, I was on my third cup of coffee, considering a fourth, when I noticed him. A small boy, maybe six years old, drifting through the crowd. No frantic parent in sight, no one calling his name. He seemed lost.<\/p>\n

I crouched down to his level. \u201cWhat\u2019s your name?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cTommy,\u201d he whispered, his voice barely audible over the bustle of the airport.<\/p>\n

Tommy looked up with big, teary eyes and nodded. He unzipped his backpack slowly and handed it to me without saying a word.<\/p>\n
Opening the bag, I expected to find a boarding pass or some clue to help me find his parents. Instead, I froze when I saw a crumpled airline ticket with his last name: Harrison \u2014 my last name.<\/p>\n
At first, I dismissed it as a coincidence. But then I took a closer look at Tommy. His eyes, nose, and chin \u2014 they were unsettlingly familiar. But that didn\u2019t make sense. I didn\u2019t have kids. In fact, I barely had family left at all.<\/p>\n

I suggested we go to security to help find his dad. As we made our way across the terminal, I tried to push the thoughts of Ryan out of my head. But before I could, I saw him \u2014 Ryan, rushing toward us, scanning the crowd with frantic eyes.<\/p>\n
