Mother Came Out of Coma After 17 Years and Took Revenge on Her Own Daughter – Story of the Day

Olivia had always been curious about her mother, Renata, who had been in a coma since shortly after her birth. Her father, Heath, rarely spoke about it, but now that Olivia was older, she felt ready to learn the truth.

“Dad, can you tell me what happened?” she asked.

Heath sighed. “I met your mother at a ballet performance. She was the best ballerina I’d ever seen. We started dating, and after we married, we wanted a family. Renata agreed to give up dancing for a child.” He paused, sadness creeping into his voice. “When she was seven months pregnant, doctors found a serious spinal issue. They suggested inducing labor to save both her and the baby.”

“And I was born healthy?” Olivia interjected.

“Yes, but the surgery was complicated. She never woke up. They kept saying she might, but…” Heath’s voice trailed off, heavy with loss.

“No, Dad! She will wake up! She’s my mom!” Olivia insisted, her youthful optimism unwavering.

The next day, the hospital called with miraculous news: Renata had awakened.

At the hospital, Heath hesitated before bringing Olivia in. “Remember, she doesn’t know that 17 years have passed,” he reminded her.

“Renata, my love! You’re awake! How are you feeling?” Heath asked, embracing her.

“What happened? Why do I feel so tired? Is our baby okay?” Renata questioned, confusion in her eyes.

“Yes, but it’s a long story,” Heath began, inviting Olivia in.

“Hello, Mom!” Olivia beamed, her heart racing.

Renata’s gaze turned cold. “Who is this girl? Where’s our baby?”

Heath struggled to explain, but Renata only grew more agitated. “You’re lying! Get her out of here!” she screamed, despair evident in her eyes.

In the days that followed, Renata grew increasingly distant, treating Olivia with disdain. Despite Olivia’s attempts to connect—offering to help around the house—Renata pushed her away. “Don’t call me ‘Mom.’ I don’t want anything from you,” she snapped.

As tensions escalated, Renata found herself packing Olivia’s belongings. But while rummaging through her daughter’s room, she discovered a folder labeled “For Mom.” Inside were videos Olivia had made, sharing her thoughts and feelings over the years—messages of love and longing.

Tears streamed down Renata’s face as she realized the depth of her daughter’s love. Just then, Olivia entered the room. “Why are you packing my things? Is this revenge for what happened when you got pregnant with me?” she asked, hurt evident in her voice.

Renata’s heart shattered. “No, baby. I’m so sorry! I shouldn’t have blamed you. I love you!” she cried, pulling Olivia into a tight embrace.

In that moment, they both understood—the pain of the past could not overshadow the love that was blooming anew. Renata began teaching Olivia ballet, rekindling her passion and sharing it with her daughter.

Eventually, Renata opened a ballet studio, with Olivia as her first student. The pain of the past transformed into a future filled with hope, love, and the rhythm of dance, forever changing their lives for the better.
