THE PERSON WHICH WOMAN GOT SEATED WITH CAUSED THE ENDING OF HER MARRIAGE

Brie was at the airport since she was going to visit her mother. She was planning to read her book during the flight. As she got seated and fasten her seatbelt a woman approached to the seat next to her and said, “I guess we are neighbours.”

They both smiled and sat silently for a while. Then she saw the name of the woman she was sitting with. It was Clara. The same Clara her husband would talk about, his ex-wife.

Brie got incredibly nervous immediately. She started to think about the time her husband and Clara had spent back in time, back in their union.

Then Clara turned to Brie. “Brie right? Oscar’s wife Brie?”

Brie nodded, as she couldn’t speak with Clara. She was shocked. How could Clara knew her name.

“I’ve seen you on social media,” Clara said. “Oscar is sharing lots of picture, you know?”

“Thank you.” Brie said silently. She was not rude as she thought she would be. Then Clara explained that she was going to a bridal shower of a family member.

“I don’t like flying,” she said. “But it is the fastest way.”

“It is not common for a plane to fall down, don’t worry we will be fine.” Brie smiled.

“We threw a big surprise for my cousin.” Clara explained. “My mother will also be there. She was dealing with health issues lately.”

As they talked al little more, Clara talked more openly. “Do you know that I was supposed to keep the house you are living in.”

“What?!” Brie was shocked once more.

“While we were still together, Oscar and I designed it.”

Brie had no words to utter since she was choked.

“Oscar never said anything,” she said.

“He is always a secret keeper, you know.” Clara responded.

Then she revealed that Oscar was still sending her flowers for her special days. Brie asked for more details since she wanted to learn more. Clara also explained that Oscar would call her whenever Brie and Oscar would argue, and when he would be alone in home.

Brie asked for the reason why Clara was telling her all this. Clara held Brie’s hand and said, “You are a good person, and you should know the truth. Oscar is not that of a nice man.”

“I’m sorry Brie. I didn’t want to hurt you.” Clara said after Brie started to cry. The damage was done. Brie couldn’t talk again until the plane landed. She went to a cafe, and texted to Oscar.

“We are done Oscar, you can talk with Clara.”
