Lizzie was in shock after learning her parents had died in a car crash. A 15-year-old with a strong will, she had to put the house up for sale and move in with her Aunt Petunia, who made it clear she was unwelcome. Lizzie worked hard around the house, caught the attention of Andrew, a wealthy neighbor, who observed her diligent work from his mansion.
When Lizzie turned 18, Aunt Petunia threw her out. Andrew, noticing her plight, offered her a job as his maid. Hesitant at first due to Andrew’s wife, Josie, Lizzie agreed when Andrew assured her it would be fine. He provided her with a room and meals, a welcome change from her previous life.
As Lizzie worked, Andrew began comparing her to Josie, who was often absent and unwilling to have children. Longing for fatherhood, Andrew approached Lizzie about being a surrogate. Lizzie was furious, but after a car accident left Andrew injured, they discussed his situation, leading her to agree to help him as his wife instead.
When Josie found out, she was furious and kicked Andrew out, revoking their business partnership, costing him significantly. Andrew and Lizzie moved into a smaller home, married, and soon Lizzie became pregnant. However, complications during childbirth led to the devastating news that their baby had been stillborn.

Heartbroken, Lizzie struggled to cope. One day, Andrew’s ex-wife called, claiming she had given birth to a child and needed a father. Lizzie encouraged Andrew to return to Josie, leading Lizzie to move away to start fresh.
Months later, Andrew returned to Lizzie with a baby. He revealed that Josie had paid a doctor to fake their child’s death. The truth was undeniable—the baby bore Lizzie’s features. Josie and her accomplice doctor were arrested for their deceit.
Andrew and Lizzie finally found happiness together, raising their child and building a life free from the shadows of their past.
