Alittle boy calls 911 to ask for police aid. What did he want?

We usually advise our children to dial 911 in the event that they require assistance. However, one little student elevated the lecture to a whole new level!

The boy decided to ask for assistance since he was having trouble with his homework. He picked up the phone and phoned 911, as it was the only number he knew. Are the individuals on this number really in need of assistance? Yes, in fact. He was probably correct elsewhere, too.

The responding operator started off by posing the usual queries. After a protracted period of misunderstanding, the operator found that the youngster actually struggled with math issues.

Boy: I really do need help.

Boy: I’ve learned these things.

Boy: Of course.

Operator: Alright, so what’s the problem?

Boy: I’m having trouble with my arithmetic.

Operator: Okay, walk me through the arithmetic.

Boy: All right. 8 minus 16 is what?

Operator: You let me know. What is your estimation of its amount?

Boy: I’m not sure, 1.

Operator: Not at all. How old are you?

Boy: Just four years old, that is.

Operator: Quintet!

Boy: Of course.

Operator: Which is the next problem? That one was challenging.
