After five years of trying, Lizzie finally saw two lines on her pregnancy test. She gasped as she called her husband into the bathroom. When Alex saw the pregnancy test, he almost passed out of joy.

They jumped with happiness and hugged, shared a kiss. They were going to be parents. But they wanted to be sure and have a decent test from a doctor.

That afternoon was spent in Dr. Patel’s office. Then the doctor came inside. She stated that after the test was done, they will send the results via email.

On their way back, they decided to wait for the email until they tell everyone about their little update.Alex said that his mother will be very happy. Pauline was a good intended woman but she had no boundaries.

Few days later, while Pauline was visiting their house, she asked that if she could use the laptop for she needed to search for a place. When she turned it on, a notification popped up on the bottom right of the screen, where it stated that Lizzie was pregnant.

On the next day, Pauline invited Lizzie and Alex to dinner. When they entered to her house, they were shocked to see the banner, “CONGRATULATIONS Mommy & Daddy!”

They were shocked because the whole family was there and they didn’t say anything to anyone.

When they asked how did the family learned, Pauline revealed that she saw the email on the laptop, and decided to throw a surprise party.

“How dare you!” Lizzie was angry. “What gave you the right to invade our privacy like that?”

“I-I was just excited. I thought—”

Lizzie was angry that her chance to announce her pregnancy was taken over from her hands. Alex was also not happy with what his mother did. She meant well, but this was too far.

Then they had a plan. A friend of the couple went to Pauline’s door with a police uniform and informed her that checking or opening someone else’s email or mail box was a serious offense, and that she was being sued by that reason.

Pauline was shocked, she went pale. This was ridiculous for her, and she screamed that.

“How dare you?” she hissed. “After everything I’ve done for you? I threw you a party, for God’s sake!” Pauline said to Lizzie and Alex.

“You ruined our special moment, Pauline. You stole our thunder.” Lizzie responded.Then they revealed the truth, that it was a set-up. They explained further, until Pauline understood that what she did was wrong. She apologized, and then she never did such a thing once again.
