BRIDE WAS SHOCKED WHEN SHE SAW HER FATHER IN TV, WHOM SHE DIDN’T WANT HIM TO WALK HER DOWN THE AISLE IN HIS WHEELCHAIR

Lisa was two when her mother, Lucie, passed away in the same hurricane destroyed their home, and bind her father, Frank, to a wheelchair.

Despite their tragic lives, Frank used all his power in his blood to raise his daughter alone. He loved and cared her no matter what happened in their life. He didn’t let his injury stop him, and worked hard remotely, as he was a well-known journalist, to provide for his daughter.

Lisa’s friends never saw her father in any of the events she appeared in her school life. Not because Frank wouldn’t attend them, but because Lisa wouldn’t invite her father since she was embarrassed of his injury.

Lisa adored her father when she was a little child. But as she started to grow, she sabotaged her relationship with Frank.

That never affected Frank as he kept working for his daughter. He sent her to the college she wanted, and there, Lisa found her future husband, Harry.

When things evolved, and Harry wanted to invite Frank to meet with his parents, Lisa freaked out.

The evening was great for everyone except Lisa. Everyone was happy as they were talking, and praising Frank for raising Lisa alone with a condition like he is in.

Few days before the wedding, Lisa told her father that he will not be in the guest list. She told Frank that there will be too many guests, and that she didn’t want people to see her father in a wheelchair.

“A man in a wheelchair is weird?” Frank started to cry, as he couldn’t hold his tears.

A day later, while Lisa was watching TV, she saw a show named, “American Heroes.” As she was trying to understand what the show was about, she saw her father on TV.

There, Lisa learned that Frank was a hero for their destroyed neighborhood who saved a lot of lives, despite he lost his ability to walk.

Then he explained how he ended up on a wheelchair. Frank explained that his daughter was standing under a wall, where some debris were falling from on top of it, he jumped and saved Lisa. Then something fell on his back and caused the spine injury.

Lisa never heard that, as her father never explained what happened to his daughter. As she felt terrible after hearing that, she started to cry uncontrollably. She wanted to fix the things she ruined. At the wedding, she explained what she did to her father, and how terrible of a daughter she was against her amazing father and her hero. With tears falling from her eyes, she apologized to her father.

“You can hate me for the rest of my life. I am sorry.”

As Frank was crying too, he hugged to his daughter and told her that there was nothing to be forgiven, and that parents are exist to show their children what unconditional love is.
