Rock ‘n’ roll legends light up the stage on The Voice UK. Stan Urban and Sir Tom Jones’ stirring performance. 79-year-old rock ‘n’ roll pianist Stan Urban performed with legendary Sir Tom Jones, 83, on The Voice UK, giving an impromptu rendition of “Great Balls of Fire” by Jerry Lee Lewis.
Their energetic performance brought the audience to their feet, applauding and cheering. Stan’s audition Urban, who hails from Dundee, Scotland, impressed at his blind audition by singing “Little Queenie” by Chuck Berry. His dynamic piano playing and robust baritone voice caught the attention of judge Olly Murs, who turned to support him.
Audience and judges reaction The judges and audience were visibly delighted with Urban’s performance, many of them urging the other judges to turn around. Despite the enthusiastic response, Murs was the only judge to turn around and secure Urban for his team.
