Gabriella Laberge stuns ‘AGT’ judges with violin and angelic voice

One of the most well-known talent competitions in the world, America’s Got Talent, recently had a recognizable face for viewers of Eurovision. French-Canadian violinist and vocalist Gabriella Laberge, who participated in France’s 2019 Destination Eurovision, enthralled the judges and audience with her amazing audition.

In a pre-performance video, Gabriella talked about her dreams before taking the stage at AGT. She declared, “This is the chance of my life to pursue my greatest ambition, which is to pursue music for the rest of my life.”

The musician, who was born in Quebec, then showed up with her violin and gave a lovely solo performance to start off her audition.

Simon Cowell didn’t appear as interested in her playing as judges Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel did. He indicated that he was prepared to end her performance by hovering his palm over the red buzzer. However, Gabriella had a surprise planned.

After switching from playing to singing, Gabriella burst into a heartfelt performance of “Goodbye My Lover” by James Blunt. Her heavenly voice caught Cowell’s attention at once, and he pulled his palm away from the buzzer.

Both the judges and the crowd gave her a standing ovation for her performance, and Cowell himself joined in the cheers. By a unanimous vote, the panel decided to advance her to the competition’s next round.

Gabriella’s AGT adventure is far from done, though. Her audition was broadcast in episode eight, the last round of the season’s auditions.

Only 36 of the more than 150 acts who garnered “yes” votes during the season advance to the live performances. To find out if Gabriella will be one of the finals, fans will have to wait until the series resumes after a three-week hiatus.

When Gabriella participated in the second season of France’s Destination Eurovision in 2019, her television career officially began. Fans loved her song “On cherche encore (Never Get Enough).”

But even though she was well-liked, she lost in the semifinals. In the end, Bilal Hassani’s song “Roi” won the competition.

With her AGT audition, Gabriella Laberge opens a new chapter in her career by rekindling her fans’ enthusiasm and displaying her skill to a worldwide audience.

Her passionate performance has already made a lasting impression on both judges and spectators, regardless of whether she moves on to the live shows.
