An 80-year-old man visited his wife in a nursing home every morning, bringing her flowers and breakfast.
One day, a curious visitor saw him and asked about his wife and why she was there. The man replied that she had Alzheimer’s disease.
The visitor asked, “Would your wife be worried if you didn’t come and bring her breakfast one day?” The man answered, “She doesn’t remember. She hasn’t recognized me in five years; she doesn’t even know who I am.”
