Tina thought she had found her happily ever after when she married her high school sweetheart, Richard. However, after eloping at 18 and getting kicked out by Richard’s wealthy family upon discovering her pregnancy, Tina faced a harsh reality.
“Get out, Tina! If I see you here again, we’ll have a problem!” Richard’s mother, Mrs. Tinney, shouted. “We’ve heard all about you! Don’t you ever call here again, or we’ll sue you!” Tina knew she and her unborn child were on their own.
Years passed, and Tina raised her son, Greg, with all the love and strength she could muster. Despite financial struggles, Greg’s eagerness to help and strong work ethic made their lives a bit easier. By age 15, Greg worked as a caddy and balanced his job with school. He graduated with honors and started his own business, becoming successful by 26.

Tina noticed Greg’s growing anger towards his estranged father. One day, Greg decided to confront Richard. Clutching a baseball bat, he approached Richard’s house. However, when he saw his father, now frail and impoverished, taking out the trash, Greg’s anger softened. He realized that seeking revenge might not be worth it.
Greg noticed a “for sale” sign and learned Richard was in debt and losing his home. Deciding against violence, Greg bought the house and arranged a meeting with Richard. When Richard arrived at the property agent’s office, he was stunned to find Tina and Greg there.
Greg introduced himself and told Richard to vacate the property. “If I see you again, we’ll have a problem!” Greg said. As Richard left in shame, Tina reflected on how the past had come full circle.
